Dog friendly! Lots of outdoor seating. Prices are amazing! Went on a weekday, no wait. Parking might be a tad tough on weekends. Always see a long line/wait.
Got the chicken fried steak and the Apple Waffle special. The chicken fried steak is really good. It’s NOT battered like the typical fried steak but it had a crispy crust! Delicious. The house potatoes was nicely seasoned too.
The Apple sausage was good. Hint of the apple and not sweet. Nice sear to it. Waffle was soft with the light tangy apple sauce.
Definitely want to go back for their pork chop or corned beef.
This is a quaint breakfast/lunch spot near Downtown Upland. I think I first discovered it in 2012, and have been going there ever since. I’ve tried multiple dishes, and have never been disappointed.
One of my favorite things is that you can bring your pups to chill on the patio with you while you eat.
Here are some standout items I’ve had over the years: pork chops and eggs, mushroom and cheese omelette, Linden’s greens eggs & ham, and of course their cinnamon rolls (order these first cause they sell out fast!!).
I had the French toast meal with bacon a day scrambled eggs. The food was good. The restaurant was charming. Feels like the kind of place where regulars come too. And the staff was friendly. We got our food quickly. Plenty of free parking on the side streets.
I wrote a review 4 years ago….I still love this place! All i want to add is that the cinnamon rolls are DELICIOUS! Freshly made! Sooooo good! We like to get one to share while the food comes lol
P.S. The staff is always friendly and courteous. Very quick and ready to serve and the food is consistent and delicious.
My experience here was pretty good. The servers were kind, and we were seated quickly. The ambiance inside is excellent; the only downside is the fly population. The menu is safe, as there are many things that anyone would enjoy. Meant for a crowd that wants a home-style meal. Only left 3 stars because it’s such a normal place. I wasn’t incredibly impressed with the food but I most definitely didn’t dislike the food.
Order: I got the kitchen sink omelet which was huge, for $10. The flavor was pretty good; nothing crazy amazing, did not taste bad either.
Quaint home style menus. Food very good. Only open half day so sometimes you might have a small wait.
